In order to enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of company employees, effectively prevent and contain the occurrence of fire accidents, on July 14th, Hebei Gurui organized a rich and practical fire safety knowledge training and emergency drill activity in the factory area.
This training was conducted on-site by Zhou Hongbo, the safety supervisor of Hebei Gurui, for the employees. At the beginning of the event, he explained the causes of fires, their enormous harm, and fire prevention precautions in daily work and life in a simple and understandable way, based on typical fire cases that have occurred in recent years. Subsequently, a detailed demonstration and explanation were given on how to correctly use fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other firefighting equipment, emphasizing the golden opportunity and key points for early fire suppression.
After the theoretical explanation, we entered the most anticipated "practical" firefighting phase. Employees actively participated and took turns to experience firsthand. Everyone calmly followed the four character mnemonic of "lift, pull, hold, and press", held a dry powder fire extinguisher in hand, aimed at the root of the simulated fire source and sprayed it, quickly extinguishing the ignited flame successfully. Through hands-on operation, employees not only overcame their nervousness when facing a fire, but also mastered the correct use of fire extinguishers.
Subsequently, the tense and orderly fire evacuation drill officially began. As the simulated alarm sounded, employees in various areas quickly responded, covering their mouths and noses with their hands or clothing, bending down in a low posture, and evacuating quickly and orderly along the predetermined evacuation route to the designated safe area. The entire process responded quickly and orderly, achieving the expected drill effect.
This fire safety training and drill not only enabled company employees to master basic fire safety skills, but also deeply rooted the concept of "safety first, prevention oriented" in their hearts.
